Daljit

Tutor

I have been teaching Maths, up to GCSE level since 2015 and I enjoy every moment of it. I am committed to delivering an engaging learning experience to all students. In particular, I feel that I have been able to help children to access learning by simplifying maths processes and enhancing their support in areas of weakness.

I have been involved with PTS since its inception, and believe that it offers its students an exceptionally high standard of education and the greatest opportunity to fulfil their potential.

Teaching Assistant

I have worked within education for over for almost three decades. I began my career working within a Further Education College in Romford, Essex and spent 27 years working to support the Finance team. After retiring, I felt I wanted to continue working within education and began working for Private Tuition Specialists, assisting the teachers to support our reception and KS1 learners. I work for both locations, Romford and Hertfordshire. For the last ten years I have also been working part time job at a school where I also support primary school children with their learning. My passion is working with our younger children, they are such a delight to work with and I really enjoy it. Making a difference to students in early years is so rewarding.

Interesting Fact: When I am not working with children in a classroom, you'll find me in the allotment, planting vegetables.

Tutor

Teresa : BA (Hons) P.G.C.E. (Primary)
Trinity Cert. TESOL.
S.E.N. Asst. Cert.

I am an experienced primary school teacher who has taught all year groups and has had further intense reading training as part of my role, previously teaching reading to children finding reading particularly challenging.

I undertook further training at St Giles international and hold the Trinity Cert. TESOL qualification for teaching English and business English to students with overseas languages, previously utilising my skills in central London to adults studying English and new to London.

Teresa finds working in the classroom extremely satisfying and rewarding. Especially, during recent times, She has seen the enormous benefits individual and small group tuition has, honing in on specific difficulties that can be addressed in varying ways such as with Private Tuition Specialists.

"It is extremely motivating seeing the change in those recieving individualised and small group tuition, as in increased confidence and independence that then has a positive knock on effect to all areas of life".

Interesting fact: I have taught English to the homeless and currently volunteer with the organisation A.S.L.A.N, that suppports the homeless.

I am a private tutor with 10 years experience. I have been teaching privately, in tuition centres across london and more recently online.

I teach Maths, English and Science KS2 - GCSE. I am a graduate of King's College in Biomedical Science and am currently working as a Technology Manager for a major airline. I have a good track record in making sure my students get high grades by making sure they not only understand the topics in depth, but can answer exam questions.

I make my lessons fun and engaging and tailor my class and delivery for each student. I also have previous mentoring experience and have worked with children, getting them into work experience and universities. I know what it takes to motivate and prepare holistic young men and women with a broad mindset.

Working at Private Tuition Specialists has been a very rewarding experience. The amount of effort and attention that goes into making each student's learning a personalised experience is fantastic! The team is great to work with and Private Tuition Specialists really care about everyone involved, students, parents and staff.
