Tuition Boost Initiative – Open to all
We are delighted to introduce our new initiative “Tuition Boost”, designed to provide free educational support for up to 10 students from five local schools for a duration of up to 12 weeks.
At PTS, we strongly believe that every child should have access to additional educational support, regardless of their academic level or financial circumstances. We are committed to supporting students who may be falling behind, facing learning difficulties, or aspiring to excel, along with those preparing for grammar school entrance.
If you feel two of your pupils would benefit from further support outside of school, please get in touch. Tuition is absolutely free, we are here to help and will provide up to 12 weeks support in English, maths or science*. Sign up below!
What’s involved?
After submitting your online application on behalf of the pupil, our team will carefully review it. If the child meets the eligibility criteria, you can expect a call from us to arrange the next steps. We’ll work with you/the child’s parent/guardian to arrange a convenient time for them to visit one of our tuition centres for an assessment.
If we determine that we can provide support to the child, they will have the opportunity to receive free tuition in subjects like, English, maths, or science* (*up to year 6). Our tailored program is delivered face to face at one of our centres, personalised to the child’s unique learning needs, and aligned with the school curriculum.
Why are we doing this?
We recognise that not all students have the opportunity to receive the extra support they need due to financial constraints or the inability to find the right resources. We are dedicated to fulfilling our social responsibility by ensuring that no child is left behind in their educational journey.
Eligibility:
Our program is open to all students, and there are various reasons why a child may benefit from extra tuition support, including:
- Catching up with peers
- Transitioning between key stages, such as the move from primary to secondary school
- Preparation for examinations (e.g., SATs, 11 Plus, GCSEs)
- Preparing for 11-plus examinations
- Difficulties in accessing the curriculum
- Learning difficulties including dyslexia, dyspraxia
- Financial challenges
Age Group:
Children aged 5 to 16 can access tutoring in core subjects:
- English
- Maths
- Science*

Where will the sessions take place in person or online?
The sessions will take place at one of our centres, ensuring a personalised learning experience tailored to each individual student

One session a week.

How do I register my school?

Do you tutor children with learning difficulties?
Yes, we do provide support for students with learning difficulties. If we believe that our support could benefit the child and we are able to provide, we will offer them a place.
How many children do you support from each school?
We support a maximum of two students per school up to the duration of one term (12 weeks). Duration of tuition offered will depend on the needs of the child, our current capacity and support available.
My child has just finished free tutoring with you, can I continue?
