Thank you for enrolling your child/ren with us. We look forward to supporting them with their learning and helping them to gain the confidence they need to overcome challenges in the classroom and with their homework. We hope your child/ren will further develop their social skills through our multisensory teaching approach. We encourage you to speak to other parents/carers whilst your child/ren is/are taking part in the session. It’s a great way to share experiences, learning techniques and challenges.

Please note due to the current covid-19 restrictions which are subject to be changed at any time, we are following government guidelines and working in line with the school and will adapt accordingly.

Where possible, as much notice will be provided if there are any changes.

  • Primary: maths and English may be combined in one session, however this will depend on the individual
  • Secondary: one subject per session (60/90 minutes). Science is available for secondary students, (one hour) and currently subject to specific days and times.

Software to support learning

Doodle Learning Apps

We use Doodle English, Spell, Maths and Tables to support students (up to KS3) with their learning. A Doodle login is issued to all students at the start of term and is a core part of their learning programme. The software generates personalised learning programmes tailored to the strengths and weaknesses of your child/ren and is designed to enhance teaching and learning.

Supporting activities are added before sessions to enable your child to complete tasks prior to their session. Activities are easier to understand in the child as they have practiced beforehand. If necessary, further activities are added to support the child at home to support their development and understanding of the topic.

Logins are available to purchase to enable students to continue to learn at home, this is highly recommended and is essential to our teaching approach. Doodle is extremely beneficial for students, providing daily opportunities to work on strengths and weaknesses (activities are around 10 minutes per day) and learn new topics. Additional work is added to support difficult areas. We often run Doodle competitions (prizes for top Doodlers) to encourage students to log in at home and complete additional activities.

Platforms: The Doodle apps can be downloaded on Android, iOS (and Amazon devices).

Cost: £30.00 per student. Your child’s log in will be valid for one year / deactivated if your child withdraws.

MathsWatch is an online platform. Producers of the resource are all highly experienced teachers. Every clip has real exam questions for students to work through.

Platforms: accessible via the website, fully responsive (adapts to any screen size) and works on most mobiles and tablets and desktops.

Cost: £30.00 per student. Your child’s log in will be valid for one year / deactivated if your child withdraws.

  • Enrolment Fee (£20.00)

This includes a personalised learning programme, resources and set up on Doodle (for classroom use).

  • Fees (due at the start of the session)

All bookings are charged in blocks of four (£60.00), payable every four weeks (on the last session of my block booking), part payment is not accepted. If your final block booking during the month of June consists of five weeks you will be required to make a payment for five sessions. If you have any difficulties with payments, please inform us immediately.

The block booking payment system (£60 for four sessions)
